We had the opportunity to visit Fall Creek Vineyards at their Driftwood, Texas location earlier this month. Wow, what a great little family-owned winery in Texas Hill Country. Ed & Susan Auler are just the sweetest owners, full of hospitality & stories.

Did you know that Fall Creek Vineyards is the oldest Texas Hill Country winery? How about, did you know that Ed & Susan worked tirelessly to establish a known viticultural area and the Texas Hill Country AVA in this region in the 1980s?

Before anyone was hosting their bachelorette parties in the Texas Hill Country, there were the Aulers, working to put Texas viticulture & wine on the map.
