Oktober Wine Fest in Biscayne Times

Oh, October, the best month of the year. Am I right?

Usually, when we think of drinking holidays surrounding the month of October, we think of every beer drinker’s dream: Oktoberfest. But that doesn’t mean that wine lovers have to be completely left out of all the fun!

In fact, there are many great wines coming from Germany and Austria that are ripe for exploration during this time of the year if you want to celebrate the festive drinking season as a wein lover.

In my October Vino column for Biscayne Times, learn a little bit more about the wines of Germany and Austria, and bottles that you can find easily on store shelves in South Florida (and beyond).

Additionally, check out the Clink Different Restaurant Week (all month long) campaign for opportunities around Miami to taste different German wines at restaurants and wine bars. It’s a special treat for those who are vino-curious about the wines in this article.
